January 22nd 2018
Here's a sneak peek of Ashtanga practice with Pure Yoga's lead teacher Clayton Horton, who will be teaching at IRIS on Saturday 3rd March, followed by a beautiful Kirtan session at the Talent Theatre!
Not only Level 2 KPJAYI Certified, Clayton also studied with masters Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and the Greensufi for many years. Be sure to check out his classes and performance while you’re at IRIS!
There are many reason Ashtanga Yoga is unique:
1. Enhancement of Flexibility & Strength - the only yoga practice that is aimed at developing strength and flexibility at the same time.
2. Importance of Self Practice - emphasises greatly on self practice.
3. Fast Physical Results - By regularly performing various Ashtanga positions on your closed cell yoga mat, it won’t take long before you notice the big changes in your body.
4. Observing the Moon Days - Ashtanga Yoga is one of the very few systems that follow the cycle of the moon.
